Autism Society of BC

(ASBC) was started in 1975 and is a parent based and directed society providing support to individuals with autism and their families in British Columbia and Yukon.

 

BC Association for Community Living (BCACL)

The BC Association for Community Living is a federation that advocates for children, youth and adults with developmental disabilities and their families to ensure justice, rights and opportunities in all areas of their lives.

BC Coalition of People with Disabilities

A provincial, cross-disability advocacy organization. Their mandate is to raise public and political awareness of issues that concern people and to facilitate the full participation of people with disabilities in all aspects of society and to promote independence.

Community Living BC (CLBC)           

Delivers support and services to people with developmental disabilities, children with special needs and their families in British Columbia.

Fraser Health Authority     

Provides health care services to more than 1.5 million people living in communities from Burnaby to White Rock to Hope.

Ministry of Children and Family Development

The Ministry of Children and Family Development provides programs and services to ensure that healthy children and responsible families are living in safe, caring and inclusive communities. 

Ministry of Health                                

The mission of the Ministry is to guide and enhance the province's health services to ensure British Columbians are supported in their efforts to maintain and improve their health.

Public Trustee     

The Public Guardian and Trustee of British Columbia operates under provincial law to protect the legal rights and financial interests of children, to provide assistance to adults who need support for financial and personal decision making, and to administer the estates of deceased and missing persons where there is no one else able to do so.
